Two of Compassions Team Members were nominated and short listed for the Purple Hearts Awards 2024. The event was held on the 15th February at the University of Suffolk and was a celebration of excellence in trauma informed practice. The organisers stated their aim was to ‘work together, support each other and highlight, celebrate and encourage examples of excellent trauma informed practice. This way we can nurture the potential of vicarious resilience in the system.’
Our Project Coordinator Paula DeVaux was nominated for the Hughes Award for Trauma Informed Practice in House and one of our long serving Trustees Kirsten Robins was nominated for The Wilson Award for Trauma Informed Practice in Action. We are immensely proud of both of them for reaching the shortlist of the final three in both categories and wonderful to see the work of Compassion being celebrated. Pic attached.
